I remember the original Wizardry many years ago and thought I'd try this more modern version to remember old adventures.

I've built a basic party of 2 fighters, 2 priests and 2 mages.
I go into the maze, encounter my first group of monsters.
Orcs and Slimes, nothing too taxing I reckoned.

Except none of the fighters ever manage to hit any of them, not even once.
I've tried changing their weapons from long swords to consecrated flails, and even the Staff +2.
Absolutely no effect whatsoever.

The spells that do damage work perfectly and are currently the only thing that can take down an enemy.

Just in case it was just me, I built 2 fresh fighters and gave them 18 strength using point buy.
Down I go to the maze, and once again none of the fighters attacks hit.

So I tried a memory editor, to set the groups XP to 20 million.
Going up to level 36 for everyone, I returned to the maze again.
None of the fighters blows hit anyone.

So I tried building a fresh party again, using point buy to have all stats for all members to be 18.
Bounced their XP to 20 million and levelled up to 36 once again.

Fully equipped from the store, I go down to the maze again.

Once again the fighters can't hit any enemies, with any weapon I can buy from the store.

I dug up my ancient DOS version and the starting weapons should be more then good enough to give a bunch of orcs a good kicking.

So I thought I'd ask the question here.
Have I tripped over a bug or have I done something wrong?

Did you "Equip your gear"? If you have, you should be hitting often. Agility helps with hitting, but even with low stats you should hit at least half of the time. Maybe re-install the game?

Brewhammon: Agility helps with hitting
Strength is what affects chance to hit, not Agility.

(By the way, the offline installer *still* hasn't been updated.)
