After adventuring for a bit in the dungeon, I keep a "spare" healer character back at town so that I dont have to age my main party healers to regain their spells if I only need to heal a few hp.

After arriving in town, I went to the Tavern and removed my main fighter since he was uninjured (party position 1), and then added the "spare" healer. She appeared in party position 6. I would have liked to be able to cast her heal spells right in town, but I could not find any way to do that.... so I took the team into the maze.

Without moving, I pressed shift, selected the healer, went to her spells, and cast a few DIOS to remove the minor wounds I had on my bishop and my thief. Then I turned the party around and pressed space to re-enter the town.

Back to the tavern, I clicked the "remove from party" option, and then tried to click the "spare" healer. Nothing happened. My main fighter (the one I had removed) was at the top of the list of characters in the tavern and his details were shown in the top panel. No amount of clicking on the "spare" healer in party slot 6 would remove her.

The workaround was to leave the "remove" screen, and then click the "add party member" option, and then upon selecting my main fighter from the list, I was prompted to specify which character in the party he would replace. I selected the "spare" healer and she was replaced by the fighter.
I just exit the game then reenter and then it works correctly. Seems always to happen if your try to switch characters right after returning from the maze.
