title says it all, looking up and down is way too sensitive, i was wondering if there is any way to lower the sensitivity for that.

Maybe in the general settings (DOS settings, not ingame).

If not, download BuildGDX and use WitchavenGDX.

Bit late, but maybe it's helpful if not for you then perhaps others. Adjusting the following settings in the /Witchaven/Enhanced/GAME/WHAVEN/EGPREF.CFG did the trick for me (though it still feels just a bit off):

mouse_x_sens 2
mouse_y_sens 5
