Does anyone know if it is possible to aim with any degree of accuracy using the 360 gamepad?

I play Elite Dangerous with a gamepad, I can fly well enough even around tight obstacles but I can't aim very well with the gamepad - it could just be my control mapping.

Been looking at this game for a while just never bought it because of the DRM - finally!

It's a console adaption so you should be fine in arcade mode. In sim or realistic mode on you will need keyboard/mouse or flightstick though.

They improved the support for gamepads in War Thunder I noticed.
