Thank you SO MUCH for this post! Being very intrigued by flight sims, but having never played one on PC, I thought the first WC would be the best place to start. After numerous failed attempts to configure WC on Win7, I resigned myself to skipping this undoubted gem, simply unable to set it up.

Because of your clear and concise guide, not only do I have WC setup optimally, I also have Roland sound pumping through my speakers with the Munt MT-32 emulator! Thank you again, I'll be sure to use your tweak guide on the subsequent WC games when I install them. Now, on to attempt configuring my Logitech Extreme 3D joystick to work with WC...

Well, after messing around with the Logitech Gaming Software that came bundled with my Extreme 3D Pro stick, I'm all set up! I even managed to get the hat button configured for easy camera angle switches- worked like a charm! I now have an awesome WC experience awaiting me, if you'll excuse me now...
