When I start up wing commander IV, I get perfect sound, but by the time the Dolby intro is over, or right when maniac starts talking after I make the choice, the sound cuts out.
This happens for every cutscene in the game.

I'm running on Windows 7 64 bit . WIth an HP Envy laptop that has an ATI Radeon video card.

Does anyone have any solutions to this issue?

There's been several threads about this, do a search on Google for Wing Commander 4 sound issues, and it will bring up a thread on here with a fix.

Don't do what Gog.com support tells you and download codecs, as they lead to other problems such as tool bars, and upside down cut scenes..
