As some of you may know, wing commander: The price of freedom has 'issues' with modern 64 bit systems. Mostly because it's "Win95" patch adds a 16bit installer, and current computers don't support any programs which are lower than 32bit.

And if you are some one like myself who has a large interest in early 90's games. But is a total noob at DosBox. More problems will arise.

Any chance of GoG Picking up the rights to Wing Commander 4 and providing us with a compatible 'Win95' patch?

Wing Commander Prophecy still works wonders on modern systems
(Even if windows 7 likes to minimise the game, maximise a cutscene and then minimise said cutscene and restore the game every time one of the videos is played. But that could simply be because I am using the Prophecy DVD fan-Patch)
But It would be great to see it on GoG.

I own second hand copies of Wing Commander 3-5 and I frequently play Prophecy in my spare time.
But if GoG would finish off the 'main' wing commander sega I would gladly purchase all five games.

So does anyone have any news?
Niall
Apparently, gog has the rights to WC4 but hasn't released it yet. I don't know about Prophecy.

Gog its time....release WC4 and 5. (DVD versions). I have a copy of 5 still, but would buy another one.

Ok - WC4 bought...time for Prophecy and the mission pack with Prophecy.

When might we see Wing Commander Prophecy on GOG?

I'll second that. I've been playing through all the Wing Commander games in preparation for Chris Roberts' opus Star Citizen.

I've bought each one through GOG, and I would certainly like to complete the collection!
