So I decided to get this in the sale, I already have the EA version (I think I got it free) but was never able to get my controller to work, plus it crashed on Windows 11, so I thought I give this as go been that it say

But this version still crashes Windows 11. (lucky I kept win10 setup) it work on that, but the controller still dosnt work, it pick up that I have a Xbox One but in the config it jumps all over the place and first cut scene menu I get to, it slides to the top left of the screen. I was hoping for a smoother setup due to the above,
I get there only so much that can be done sometimes on these old game and I do thank them for trying. But I maybe think it needs a bit more work.

If you are having the same problem that I was, you can try the solution I found.
1) Go into the folder where you have WC3 installed.
2) Edit the file "dosboxWC3.conf".
3) Search for "timed=false" (without the quotes).
4) Change the line "timed=false" to "timed=true".
5) Save your changes to the file.
6) Relaunch the game and see if the issue is fixed for you.

Also i forgot you have to toggle it on with Alt-o, and had to google controls (it been a while) I feel before boot up maybe a slash screen with controls and tips for games and best trouble shooting tips by the community should be maybe part of the game (at least games within this GOG program) would be a good idea, you could say toggle this extra help seen off just an idea.
