Hello all,

Just thought I would point out that Wing Commander 3 is free on EA's Origin right now. If you want Origin on your system that is...
I own entire series here, on GOG, so no point having just one title on Origin.

So do I, but I thought I would point it out to those that might not have it (which is a rare few probably).

Of course, though I would rather buy it here than take a free version on Origin. If I would bet money what could die first, Origin or GOG, it would certainly be Origin.

Still, there's hardly any reason not to redeem it.... at worse is just a free backup copy elsewhere with no disadvantages, in case you lose your bet ;-)

I never loose a bet...

... because I'm usually smart enough to not make them in the first place :D
I owned it on Origin by now. The only reason I own origin is:

- C&C
- Plants vs Zombies

occasional free games here and there ... that I haven't played yet.
Still bought it here, haha. I don't want Origin on my system, I'm against DRM (though I have a bunch of games I got for free on Steam) - this one especially.

Too bad the game isn't as fun as the original X-Wing gameplay-wise, but I did enjoy the cinematics and game's storyline. That aspect is well done.

If you already have Steam, then just go ahead and install Origin. It's better than Steam, less intrusive, far less annoying and you've already sullied your system with Steam.
Nah, I just don't want no additional useless stuff on my PC, y'know. I use Steam mainly for communication, not gaming purposes. Besides, the espionage controversy effectively scared me off, so...

But free Dragon Age: Origins almost made me snap ;F

Well, to each his own, I decided to snap up a free Dragon Age: Origins. Also got a free Dead Space and free Sims 2 complete.

I can at least partially thank Steam for that, if Steam hadn't been this icky to begin with I wouldn't have installed Origin.
