So, get a look at new graphic setup menu for WC 1 and well, while basic setups are the same as always then advance setup has something like scaling engine. What is it?

And yup - the game still runs smoothly while there is only one ship (like first stage in simulator) and much slower when there is more of them.

I tried WC in Taewoong's build and it runs a lot better speed wise. I could even complete the level I was stuck on because of it (Gimle 1). Howver I get a horrible looping sound.

Has anyone tried this combo before?

How do I integrate Taewoong into the GOG release? Tried following the GOG wiki but doesn't make sense. The files aren't even the same as what you find in the GOG folder.
I don't understand. If you got it working why are you asking? And if not you treat taewong's build like you do any other dosbox version.

Open dosbox

mount c c:\wc\gog\release\directory with wc.exe

loadfix -16 wc

voila. (loadfix was necessary to fix a crash with the origional retail release, dunno about gog but wont hurt.)

The gog release is all this already done through shortcuts. Just right click on the shortcut, click properties, and change the executable from the dosbox in gog to taewong's executable.

As oppose to sound looping i don't understand. i have never had that happen to me. Is this soundblaster/adlib mode you are running wc in? (default is yes) I never had an issue with dosbox adlib through sound blaster emulation. It's pretty reliable.

I was asking about the sound issue. But I managed to fix it by running the program again and detecting sound settings.

I also setup WC to run using Boxerapp on Mac and it works very well. Both using MT-32 emulation as well, sounds great!
