I may not be remembering correctly but I recall my old CD-ROM version played music during the missions. I'm too fearful to drag out my CDs to try to get them to load under DosBox to confirm.

I'm hearing speech and the in-flight sound effects (with noticeable delay) but no music. What the CD music stripped out of this version or is something wrong? Anyone else have this problem?

I'm using the default settings (SB16) with my SB Audigy 2 card on Win XP.

Thanks for any comments.

Turns out you have to modify the Start menu shortcut to remove the "-c". Then, edit the dosboxPriv.conf file to remove the lines

priv.exe
exit

Run the modified shortcut and type

Install.exe

select the correct music card (SB16 in my case, it had defaulted to General Midi) then hit "Install with these settings". After that, you can run 'Priv' from the command prompt and enjoy music.
