I've tried to see if this question has been answered on these forums but can't quite find it. I've looked everywhere I can think of for the .sav files and not able to locate them. Where can I find the saves to transfer pilot data?

On Windows the SAVEGAME.WLD file is in a GAMEDAT folder where the game is installed.

On OS X the GAMEDAT folder is inside the game's Current.boxerstate in ~/Library/Application Support/Boxer/Gamebox States/

Got it, I used an idea buried in one of the Privateer posts and transferred the WC folder into the WC2 folder and just did c:\WC\GAMEDAT and it worked. Hopefully this will help someone else in the future locate them as well.
