The movies of WC5 Prophecy are way too fast.

WC5 uses no DOS BOX so what can I do ?

this should suppossedly work, but when I copied the two files it tells me I need to put disc 1 in the drive. it looks like the game has problems with sound card acceleration, which can be turned off in dxdiag. can gog make this patch work with the gog version or something?

EDIT: turned off sound acceleration, now my cutscenes are not so fast but they stutter anyway, can't make anything of the conversations

Try the OpenGL Patch; this uses a different renderer so might not have that problem.

IT WERKS!

EDIT: even the graphics are better but somehow there is no music during missions (????)

EDIT2: scratch that, music returned, everything works fine. weird

I just ran WC5 for the first time and movies are way too fast on my machine too.

The OpenGL patch fixed it for me too.
