This is for Wing Commander FIVE (Prophecy).

I'm using a logitech extreme 3d pro flight stick, with the latest drivers installed. However, the game seems to completely ignore the button mapping from the drivers. This means I'd have to use the keyboard to handle tasks that I'd much rather have mapped to the stick, such as boosting, firing missiles/dropping decoys, and targeting.

I've tried using a 3rd party key mapper like joytokey, with no luck. The game seems to rely exclusively on its own calibration settings, which unfortunately seem to have been removed from the game files when it was ported to the newer version by gog.

I can't find a way to bring up the game's built-in joystick calibration launcher window, nor does it seem to be possible to bypass it.

Anyone able to solve this?

EDIT: Fixed it the next morning. Wasn't applying a "persistent profile." Keep in mind that the profiler was trying to apply each profile to each game by having itself start each game manually, which wasn't working. Went into options>global profiler settings> apply persistent profile and now it works great.
