Hello guys

While all other Wing Commander episodes run nice and smoothly on my system,
I have a problem with unbearable flicker in WC4.

FMVs work fine, but both static screens (exept while loading) and actual 3D are a headache.

I'm using Windows XP on an iMac, Intel Core2 Duo @2GHz, 4GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD2400. All drivers are provided by Bootcamp.

Reducing hardware acceleration via Windows cures static screens but makes 3D-output invisible. Hence no solution.

Would be grateful for any help

had that problem to fixed when changed colour quality from 32 to 16 bits

I'm having that same problem. It's so bad that I can't find the input to change the detail.

How do you do it?

It's the windows-setting you need to change.
Right-click on your desktop.

chose Display Properties -> Settings -> color quality -> 16bit
