I just copy my E-Mail from the support:

Hello,

I wouldn't write to the Support if I not allready tried the standard general troubleshooting things. I use PCs since 1986 and when I write to the support I allways tried the standard dump general troubleshooting things. The solution after trying every combination of K-Lite/ffmpeg/mpeg2 decoders, that I had to deactivate the second monitor. This is a bug and the guys from wcnews who created your patches are allready aware of it. This only happens for NVIDIA-Cards. So you could add this to your super general troubleshooting steps: No multi monitor setup for NVIDIA-Cards with WC4 supported.

Thank you and good night.

Hello,

Please try these general troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your user account has Administrator privileges,
right-click game's shortcut and select "Run as Administrator".

2) Right click the game's shortcut, go to Properties -> Compatibility
and try different compatibility modes.

3) Install June 2010 DirectX runtime package. You can find the ZIP
file containing its installation files here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=3b170b25-abab-4bc3-ae91-50ceb6d8fa8d
You will have to extract the files into some folder, then open that
folder and launch the DXSETUP.exe file in order to proceed with the
installation.

4) Make sure that User Account Control is disabled in your operating
system. To do this, go to Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and
Family Safety -> User Accounts -> Change User Account Control
settings. Move the slider to the lowest position ("Never notify") and
click OK. Now try launching the game again.

If none of the above helps, please send me your computer's dxdiag
report, so I could look into this problem in more detail.

To launch the dxdiag application on Windows XP, click Start -> Run...
-> type in "dxdiag.exe" -> OK.
To launch the dxdiag application on Windows Vista or 7, click the
Start button, type in "dxdiag.exe" in the text field at the bottom and
press Enter.
In the newly opened dxdiag window, click "Save All Information..."
and choose a location in which you want to save the file (your
desktop, for instance). Once you have created the file, please attach
it to a reply to this e-mail.
