Hi WC-Fans :)

My new WC4-GOG-DVD-Version (with enhanced movie-files)
crashes at gamestart with an "virtual protect"-error.
All hints, i found in WWW, doesn't help.

What can i do ?

The DOS-Version of WC4 is okay, but i want to play with highres-movies :)

Using WIN10 with compability WIN95 oder WIN98 doesn't help (i found that solution on the net too).
Same error with Linux and WINE (my second PC)

What worked for me:

1. Navigate to installation folder and locate wc4dvd.exe.
2. Enable and change compatiblity mode (right click, properties, compatibility) to Windows 98 / ME

Found on the internets, not sure if it works for you.
