I kind of remember that WC4 had mouse aiming, but it doesn't work for me in the game. How do I enable it?

I also have a Joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro), and I tried plugging that in, but that also does not work. If I try to click "calibrate" in the game, the screen just flickers and does nothing. And then when I try it when flying, only a few buttons work. I cannot aim with it, only the twist axis produces any response (rolling), and nothing else.

Any way to fix this? Playing with keyboard only... is going to be impossible...

Windows or DOS?
Since it has twist I'm assuming Windows, have you tried installing the Logitech software for the joystick and tried to test/configure it there?
It should also allow to map all the buttons.
Yes, I have the Logitech software running, but what do I do to set it up? The axis don't work, so I don't know how would I map that, axis to buttons?

Windows or DOS?
I didn't know there were more than one versions. It's the one you can get from here on GOG.com
OK! NVM! Took forever to realize you have to first press ALT+O in the game and switch to either mouse or joystick from there (and to SVGA for better graphics).

Still nothing happens when pressing "calibrate joystick" though, but at least now it works fine.

Windows version then, recently they added the dos version among the extras.
The calibration in-game doesn't work because that was left in from the DOS version, the windows version uses the windows calibration in the control panel.
