Hello all,

I am loving WC3 again after all these years. I am doing fine with the 640x480 gameplay and interface but when any videos come up, they look like 320x200. I read that some versions actually have interlaced video or at least an option.

Any tricks on the GOG version of WC3 and tweaking the videos?

Thanks in advance!

WC3 doesn't have interlaced video.
There's not much you can do about it.
But there is :)

You'll get a variety of video options: Interlacing, no interlacing, smoothing, original size,...
True.. I keep forgetting about the Win95 version *doh*
Is the GOG version the Win95 version? I bought it, but haven't installed it yet.
The DOS version doesn't have interlaced video though, nothing to be done in that version.
The GOG version is the dos version. I think there is an option menu where you can turn on interlace IIRC.
I found this thread with a guide how to patch the GOG version into the Win95 version.
With it, interlaced video becomes available.

This thread discusses how to turn interlace on in GOG's dos version;

However, there are other reasons for switching to the Kilrathi Saga version (for better timing).
Thank you all so much!

Has anyone injected those PSX videos to the GOG version successfully?
Not yet...sadly.
