Dosbox Joystick was set to FCS for Privateer 1 and to CH for Privateer 2
Hi, I don't have a Warthog but a CH Products combatstick + Pro throttle, but since I heard that TARGET was made by the same guy who did CH Control Manager I wanted to ask how did you do for the throttle?
Trying to program the throttle in the old Wing Commander games has been driving me crazy since the "easy" option is out due to the complete absence of throttle presets in these games, and with scripting I wouldn't know where to even start eve if it's possible.
In Privateer 2 i use the CH joystick preset in Dosbox, have set the CH ingame too and calibrated both ingame.

In Privateer 1, i have programmed the throttle over the Axmap1 function... but it is not perfect. I have to tweak this again.

In Strike Commander the throttle was solved more elegant over the number keys that you can map with the Axmap2, where you can bind a key to a certain range on the throttle

Yeah, I sincerely wonder why Roberts used throttle presets only in Strike Commander and in all his other games there were only the + and - keys, perhaps there is a script but my scripting abilities are non-existent and my few attempts resulted only in a headache. :(

With Privateer 2 there were no issues since it supports a throttle (at least with the unofficial patch), I just had to swap axis in the profile.
the problem is that the would have to access to gamelogic to access the state of the throttle... i should try to emulate the button 2+ joystick forward and back pattern. Maybe it could be realised with the zones you can assign to the throttle of the warthog
