Was super Wing Commander on the PC? I played it on the 3DO but i'm not sure if it was on the PC. That would be a nice game to see on GOG.

Unfortunately, it only came out on the Macintosh. Some guy had an article on wcnews about rebuilding an old mac to run it. I don't know if he ever finished yet.

It's also quite buggy(or at least was last time I tried my copy) in Sheepshaver. Sheepshaver is not exactly the easiest thing to set up either.
Although I guess I could try running it is OS 9 on my G3.

I'd love to see SWC and the KS versions as bonuses though. =/

I bought a used Mac PowerBook G3 ("Pismo") and use it exclusively to play SWC. It runs great and the Mac shares a single 17" external monitor, keyboard and mouse with my old PC gaming machine. That way I can play all WC titles on the same rig. (Bought a Belkin switcher at Radio Shack some years back.)

Sure wish gog.com would port Super Wing Commander to OS X Mac or Windows though -- the Mac cost me only $25 but who knows how long it will last?

Mac OS emulation currently requires using the original OS files which Apple still holds the rights to. I wouldn't expect GOG to ever add Mac OS game versions unless this situation changes in the future. The same sort of OS requirement also restricts the re-release of games from some other old computer platforms (e.g. the Amgia).
