Hi, Can anyone tell me how to run the speed test on the gog version of WC IV as when I open the inflight optios I cant set the video options.

I believe all the video options are turned off by default in this build of the game and that everything is set to high. Unless you're running it on ancient hardware, you shouldn't need to run the speed test or change any of the video settings.

Hi Xander, thanks for the info.

I take it that this means that seting the video options inflight for SVGA wont make any differance? lol I guess that it has been such a long time since I last played WC IV I forgot the graphical aperance, particulary with the new bigger screens.

Yeah I've fiddled around with it a bit and they don't do anything. They're left over from the old DOS code the game is based on. And yeah, that's definitely the best the game can look. It took me a little while to adjust to it too. :)
