Is there anyway to tinker with the WC 1 game so there isnt slow down when I'm in combat. Theres nothin i love more than taking on like 6 Gratha by myself and the frantic nature of combat, but with the slow down that takes place during battle, it makes it extremely easy to line up shots and hardly ever miss. One of the most difficuly missions were always escort mission where you're constantly on the look out for enemies shooting at a tanker and it was so intense because if you missed, the guy wouldnt stop shooting and you'd lose the tanker and have to start over, but with the slow down im EXTREMELY accurate. Any help would be appreciated!

Basically, you can change CPU cycles in your dosbox config, which will help, but you might still find the game is sometimes too slow / too fast... in which case, you will have to change the game speed on-the-fly with ctrl-F11 (slower) and ctrl-F12 (faster).

I found that I had to adjust the speed depending on how many kilrathi were awaiting death at any given navpoint... :)
