Hi there :) I need your help!

This is how WC3 + 4 looks on my TV:

WC3

WC4

And this got a friend of mine:

How can i change my bad resolution? :o(
"Graphic mode setup" is not working...
given the games were made well before wide screen.. alls going full would do is stretch the images in a really nasty way..
tbh its better off as is.
to boot for the FMV's, the games low resolution vids look bad enough blown up, why would you want them bigger?

all in all though.. not sure if its possible with a game like these.. could try over atng commander
http://widescreengamingforum.com as they specialize in this sorta thing, but tbh i'm coming up blank at current..
Thanks :)

My problem is: My friend _got_ it fullscreen :( Out of the box! I would get some feedback like: "Try this..." or "Thats only your TV" :( ...or something

There could be several reasons for your friend's success.. He could be setting his screen to output the 4:3 picture and the TV's display mode is set to strech 4:3 images to fit a widescreen... Most TVs even have a mode that leave the center of the image more or less in tact and strech the sides so the distortion is minimal in the parts of the screen you are watching most often. I find this an ok solution to old cable/ OTA TV signals as well for channels that aren't HD. Tha would mean you would have to set your output resolution on your PC to a 4:3 aspect ratio resolution.
