Yerterday I finished Mission 15 in WC2. After i downloaded the new Insteller today, i was only able to start a new game.

Was the old save replaced by the installation or is it still somewhere, waiting to be copied to the right directory?

I don't know the details for where the pilot information is stored but you shouldn't worry - the old installer put the game into the "C:\Program Files (x86)" folder by default, the new one installs into "C:\GOG Games" so probably no files were overwritten, your savegames should still be located in the old folder.

Edit:
I checked on a different thread. The savegames seem to be located in a file named "SAVEGAME.WLD". Copying it from the old "program files" folder to the new "gog games" folder should do the trick.

Thanks a lot! That solved the problem. I thought it was installed in Program Files.
Just moved the Savegame from the Gamedat folder to the same in Gog Games.
