i am having trouble installing wc4.
when i go to install from the download window it opens up what looks like programing code.
i dont have a great knowlage of how to get around problems such as this.
if anyone could help me out, that would be great

What OS are you running? I have Windows 7 64 bit and WC4 works perfectly.

The first thing I would do is to check the size of the file and make sure that it downloaded fully. WC4 is one of the largest downloads in my library at just over 6 GB. You might want to try using the GOG.com downloader as well, as it seems to deal with larger downloads better than a browser does.

Definatly use the GOG Downloader, as the game downloads in several parts the gog downloaders automaticaly merges these into a single file and then instals the game for you.

If you use a browser to download the seperate files you must make sure that you have them all and then eather murge them yourself, or if that is not possible make sure you RUN number 1 of the set.

If you don't use the Gog downloader, and you have a decent firewall, it will tell you that the files are virused.

Meh, that's what it did when I tried to download the game.
