So basically, as I know others have stated, there is a known issue with using a joystick in Righteous Fire. The main problem is that as soon as you move the stick, it moves the ship in the game way too fast, especially when you're in the middle of a fight and you need to be precise, and you move to get in line with the enemy ship and you always overshoot because of the over-responsiveness of the joystick.
I did go into the .conf file and change joystick=auto to joystick=fcs. No help. I then changed it to joystick=ch. Still, it made no difference. The joystick I'm using, is a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
I used the calibrate joystick option in the game, but then I lost the cursor and had to force close DosBox. So really what I'm wondering is, has there been any new news or something to where people have gotten the joystick to work properly?
The latest article I could find through google search, was from 2017.
