Tested out the new version of Privateer. On launch all colors are shifted towards purple. White is now slightly purple and all other colors follow suit. Its like there's a purple filter put onto everything.

Never seen this before.

Thoughts?
(On the plus side, music doesn't slow down without a joystick.)
I don't have this game but they recently validated and verified but looks like they made no real changes.

It does sound like a GPU driver issue or perhaps the driver has wrong config towards it, as that can do something like that. Not really a whole lot can affect that in a game so it should be something focused on game textures or screen stuff. Corrupted game files is an example of another possibility.

That's the thing, its a fresh download.

There's no textures and the game does not use the GPU. Its sprite graphics and the whole screen has the purple filter - from the intro to menus to ingame etc.I would blame dosbox but Xwing runs without any weird graphical issues.
