I bought WC Privateer and was able to play it instantly. When I got my Jump Drive it began that sometimes the program was hanging up and going to DOS, showing a "program halted by code" error. I couldn't reproduce it because next time I did the same jump it worked.

Now I have a real big problem. I'm on the story missions on Pentonville and have to fly to Troy System. Every time I make the 2nd jump to Junction System it's showing me the error. I tried that 5 times in a row.

I thought, that perhaps it was something with the Junction System but I checked to make the 2nd jump to the XXN-1957 system and got the same error. So it's not the destination, but everytime it's the 2nd jump.

I searched a little on the internet and found the hint that DOSBox is using IRQ7 by default for the SoundBlaster and that should be changed to IRQ5. Checked the conf-file and found that it was already set to IRQ5. I tried it with IRQ7 but the sound was not working right. I could make 3 jumps but at the 4th jump the program still crashed.

My error code from DOSBox is 403-FFFF.
