I have the GOG version of privateer 2 and the CIC patch. However...when I am in space and go to my diary...it comes on for a few seconds to where I can read the messages...but then the entire screen goes BLACK!

I have to REBOOT my computer just to get back to windows 7 Ultimate.

This does not happen on the planet when I open it up...just in space!

Does anyone know what is causing this?


edit: well I figured out what caused it! It was when I set my afterburners in privateer 2 editor to 9999 instead of 999...apparently... the game crashed because I added one number too many! It works fine now!
