I have Windows XP Prof 32-bit SP3
Dell - Intel Pentium 4 531 (Prescott 90nm Technology)
2.00GB Single -Channel DDR2 @ 266MHz
Acer AL1912 monitor
512MB NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT graphics
I downloaded Privateer 2 and installed. I had a lot of issues so then I downloaded the patch and followed the instructions from the Privateer 2 - Slowdown Fix forum.
The game then started fine.
The video was good and everything was fine until I left Hermes.
I received an application error and I could hear ship noise but the screen was black.
I tried changing settings in the dosbox_privateer2.conf file but no matter what I changed I got the same error.
I also tried changing to Soundblaster 100% compatible.
Nothing else has worked thus far.
I welcome any suggestions.
