No, I don't have any general sound issues BUT:

Whenever I move between locations on the ship there is no sound at all. No steps, no anything. It has a negative impact on the overall atmosphere of the game. I can remember that there is sound when moving around while using the CD version. So, is this a new bug or a general problem with the DVD release?

What he said, it's quite well documented that for whatever reason the transition scenes are missing the audio or in some cases I noticed that there extremely faint, sadly man this is just the case hopefully someone in the community can find a way to re-add the missing audio.
