Yes, he's back and he's planning a new game. But the game won't come out soon: by now he is targeting a developement time of approximately 2 years, so we can expect it to be finished around Autumn/Winter 2014.

Soon means something different for me ;-)

LOL, fair point, but I've been waiting since 1997 for Elite IV so 2 years is nothing :D

I want a new Wing Commander, starring Mark Hamill as Chris Blair, he's not doing much at the moment seeing as he's no longer voicing the Joker in animated Batman films and he's too old to be Luke Skywalker any more.

And if they do a new WC game, they should release it on Xbox 360, I'm pretty much done with PC gaming, too many compatibility problems.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Chris Roberts is officially back with an awesome kick-ass project called "Star Citizen - Squadron 42". And I'm officially blown away. :)

Oh I am sure he will get that second million ;) I just hope a certain Cambridge based space sim developer of old is watching this.

if you add in the kickstarter they are VERY close to 2 mil now... WOOT more content on delivery.. and if you pledge 60 or more you get access to alpha and beta stuff to help em balance test.. so you don't have to wait as long... dogfighting in space.. here i come!
