On those missions that have you patrolling several checkpoints (say, from the mercenaries guild and not a plot mission), do you have to visit them all in one shot, or can you repair / rearm after hitting a couple of them and then visit the remaining checkpoints after relaunching? I tried it once and the originally-visited checkpoints were shown as unvisited when I launched again to resume the mission and patrol the rest of the checkpoints. Was just wondering if it's always like this or if maybe something else was going on that time around.
I know all cargo missions end once you land, bounty hunter missions also. Not sure about patrol or scout, but I think they also end.

Check your cash and see if you get paid once you finish them. You can also check to see if you still have all the missions in you nav screen.
Looks like you have to hit them all in one shot. Took off with a patrol mission, completed two of the five checkpoints, and landed at a base. Checked the little computer dealio and it showed I had no assigned missions. Then I launched and checked the nav screen. Also no missions listed. Guess that answers the question. Thanks for the tips.

Usually mission are failed if landed before successful end but some time we have second chance. Once I took bounty mission and realized that I could end without jump fuel in system without any base. When I checked Quine after landing 2 mission was finished but this one was "in progress". Strange...

Sometimes we can take 3 cargo mission to the same location. When two of them are "twin" (the same description and payment) then it can happen only one will be paid. So far it didn't happened in GOG version...
