I'm playing Wing Commander 4, this is the only space combat sim I've played that doesn't show you how far ahead to shoot from your target. Is there anyway to turn that on or do you just have to figure it out on your own? I'm not complaining, just want to be aware of all my options.

I don't think there's an option.
That's a feature that has been introduced as semi-default in later years... in most of the classic, good old, space-sims, you were required to lead the target by yourself.

actually, I figured out that you have to press L to lock onto the target and then it shows up. It looked like the target was already locked so I didn't realize I needed to do that.
