I tried to see if my 360 controller would work as a joystick in WC3, so at the joystick calibration screen that opened by default in DOSbox every other time I played the game, I moved the analog stick according to the instructions for the joystick. When I entered the game, the cursor just floats across the screen randomly. HOWEVER, now the joystick calibration screen doesn't come up when I start the game, and the cursor floats around every time I play it. I can turn off the joystick in the game's settings, but it's back when I reopen it. How can I fix this? (I'm not good with DOSbox)

The Xbox pad analog stick has a round movement zone instead of square like a joystick.
From what I remember you can skip the calibration using ESC, this should either disable the pad or allow dosbox to use the default windows calibration.

The problem seems to have fixed itself after I reinstalled the game outside program files. Thanks anyway.
