Privateer 2

So I saved McCloud's hide and met him at the Sinners Inn on Hermes and after him telling me he has a set of Kraven lasers for me, when I return to the booth my ship didn't have them installed.

I reloaded the game from a save I made, sold all my weapons so I had empty hardpoints, spoke to McCloud again, still no lasers.
I even checked the equipment store, they're not listed.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I wonder if it's to do with the story progression. I just spoke to the mighty Christopher Walken and have yet to go to Bex as the next part of the story.

Nothing on Google about it. Ideas?
