It's the one where you have to kill the Radar Buoy and send Vagabond and Sosa to the comm station.

I can kill the Radar thing, and most of the resistance, but I always fail the mission which ends up with the Intrepid being destroyed.

It´s this mission that you need to send them in "pods" to a starbase?

Yes.

I suppose you have problems when you need to pick them up right? You need to use the tractor beam on your tail, is kinda tricky... Is the mission Vagabond is sent inside the station right? Im not sure we talking about the same one... tell me in wich part you fail so I can help you.

That's the one, I think Vagabond gets killed off in this one.

And yes it is the end where I have to tractor beam them back that's the problem.

Okay, you had the same problem as me with that mission. It´s a bit complicated, once you need to pick them up ATTENTION SPOILER





As you know vagabond is dead, so you only need to pick the girl, I cant remember her name. They good thing is probably the station will be not protected or there will not be any enemies flying around in that moment. So you can manouver freely.

Try to search "something" similar to a spacepod in the space, probably your radar will pick it up as a "blue" small point, try to search it carefully (If you search in the station you will find a pod, that´s the vagaband´s pod so forget about it, I´m talking about a pod floating in Space)

Once you find it, try to manouver with the help of different cameras, so the pod will be right back your spaceship. So you can change to the rear turret, then BE CAREFULLY and be sure you changed to "TRACTOR BEAM" and disconnected the lasers or you will destroy the pod failing the mission. So with the tractor beam activated, aim to the pod, and "fire", the pod will be travelling towards you if you´re close enough, and then you can go back home and finish the mission.
