Just a heads up as there doesn't seem to have been an official announcement. The Secret Missions and Secret Operations expansions are now included with the Wing Commander 1 + 2 bundle, in the new 2.0.0 installer. I now have shortcuts for SM2, and SO1 & 2 in my start menu folder, and they work.

WE NOW HAVE ALL THE EXPANTIONS FOR WC 1 AND 2 ( WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!)

But i have found out one thing before if you used the cheat

Origin -K

on the config file you became invincible as well as having the ability to kill any thing by pressing ALT-DEL

That is no longer true, you can still kill like this but you don't get the invincability SO WATCH OUT.

Also the PILOT TRANSFER system is still not working,if any one can get to work please post so we can all do it.

Having trouble with secret mission 2 for wing commander 1. When I run the executable SM2 it just tells me to load a saved game over and over. I have to alt+tab and close the window. But when i use the provided shortcut that gog installed It keeps going to Secret operations 1. Is this right?

Going through the binaries to transfer pilots. They do not recognize the ~ key in game so going to copy and rename directories now

It;s best to use the provided shortcuts

The Shortcut for WING COMMANDER will take you to the main game where you have the choise of the OC or SM1

The other shortcut should take you to SM2

the way to tell is if when you try to enter SM2 it should come up about entering a number(5 for me, and I assume everyone else) then start. When you talk to Shotglass he should talk about the Frieka (or something like that)

If this is'nt happening then your install must be bad so try to reinstall.

The pilot transfer system has no shortcut so I think GOG is still working on geting if up and running, hoefully we will be told later to reinstall to get it.

As thingd stand usesing the exicutible will not work, it should take you to the barreks/bunkroom so you can choose which game/pilot to transfer, but it simply fails at the moment.

!!!PILOT TRANSFER SYSTEM WORKING!!!

What I did was to copy the directory gog games then I renamed to copied directory to WCG
renamed the sub directory wing commander 1 and 2 to wc12

Launched dosbox and typed
mount c "\wcg"
C:
cd wc12
cd wc2
wc2

and transferred a character from secret missions 1 when it asks for the path I enter
c:\wc12\wc\gamedat and my pilot transferred.

since the c drive is mounted as wcg you do not need to enter that in the path

To sum:
Copy and rename gog games to wcg
rename subfolder wing commander 1 and 2 to wc12
launch dosbox
at the Z:| prompt type mount c "\wcg"
Navigate to the c:\ drive (just type C:)
navigate to your wc12 folder (just type cd wc12)
navigate to your wc2 folder (just type wc2)
type wc2
at transfer pilot screen
enter c:\wc12\wc\gamedat I stupidly edit the dosboxWC.conf file
I restored it

Huh, I just assumed that the pilot transfer program would work when mounted in DOSBox. Thanks for the info, Joshua.
