cant find this anywhere, does anyone know what the default bindings are for a dualshock 4? I cant seem to figure out how to change the screens. finally figured out that holding X allows me use the left joystick to adjust throttle. Does anyone know a way to rebind this to other analog stick?

Keep in mind WC1 is an old game and only supported 2 axis, so if you're going to swap the throttle to the right stick the flightstick controls will go to the right one as well.

Since Sony (obviously) hasn't provided PC configuration software for the DS4 there is no simple way to achieve the thing you want, UJR might do the trick though.

Just remembered an easier solution. Edit the dosbox%.conf and make:

joysticktype: 4axis_2
