Just downloaded and started the game Wing Commander Darkest Dawn. It takes place in the same timeline as WC3, and uses the Freespace 2 engine. Has anyone else played this? So far it seems pretty good for a free mod. And are there anyother Wing Commader games out there to play?

You could try Wing Commander - Standoff. This one's set between WC 2 and 3 and it's about the events leading up to the massive Kilrathi assault on Earth prior to WC 3.

Everything you need is in the Downloads section. Be warned, though. Standoff is pretty tough, so don't feel bad about playing on easy difficulty.
