Hey y'all,

So, I was banging my head on WC1 SM2 for the past 48 hours trying to figure out why Spirit and Hunter keep dying and, more importantly, why I couldn't resurrect them. WCSAV would show them both as Active, not KIA, even when i made saves to set them as KIA. I have no idea what was going on.

Until on a whim, I turned off the cloud saving feature and Galaxy and then tried to WCSAV edit the Crusade file to set *everyone* as KIA. It worked! I then made another save, reopened WCSAV, set everyone (except for Bossman obv) to active, and it took! Spirit and Hunter were back!

I think it might be worth investigating if cloud saving or some feature of Galaxy is causing save game issues that can't be fixed with WCSAV, because turning off both those fixed my issue.

What is WCSAV ? I don't see it listed in the GOG installation.
It's probably not aware of the cloud feature. (and thus editing the wrong file). (the one in cloud_saves\gamedat needs to be edited)

I don't see anything wrong at first glance with the cloud feature.

WCSAV is a save editor that fixes a old legacy bug with the save importer feature of Special Missions 2. Also, I tried editing the save in cloud_saves but it still wouldn't work. It wasen't until I launched WC out of Galaxy and with cloud saving turned off that the save fixing worked.
