But man, 2,800 mb for a dos version? I guess it was a big package when gog received those 1,944 floppies.. ;P
Not to mention the poor guy who had to copy those from floppy to ssd ;)

huh? it came on 8 CD-ROMS

Eight? My version has six CDs. Also, it contains Windows 95 version, which is still missing on GOG.

Sry' my bad! Just checked my WC4 BOX! And it IS only 6 ;-(

Hmm, why did i say 8? Must've been 'Black Dahlia' then..

WC1 Game crashed and I did not have a saved game, now when I launch it asks to load a saved game, I don't have one and cannot do anything. Tried uninstalling and re-installing with same results. Is there a setup file I can remove to reset back to the start.

WING COMMANDER PROPHECY

Update (11 January 2018)

- Added the Italian version of Wing Commander Prophecy to everyone's accounts
- Added the Italian version of the ICIS manual, the universe map, the flight manual, and the reference card.
- We would like to say "Thank you very much!" to Indiana from the OldGamesItalia.net community for the generous donation of the Italian version of the game as well as the documents in Italian.

I got the same issue with the german DOS version. The game crashed at Mission 5.

UPDATE

Okay, i fixed the issue. You need to uninstall the whole german DOS version. Install it again, then download the DOS FIX files from this thread (from the bottom)

and copy them over the existing ones in the CD1 directory. Then start the game,
