This is WC4 release: My screen went black after the 'interactive' video intro which runs just fine. Sound is still there oddly. When I restart the game it goes black immediately, presumably when it is supposed to show a menue screen. Again, sound is running and I can click on stuff I cannot see.

This on Win 7 and a rather weak Core Duo Laptop with an Intel 945 graphics chip, which is a troublemaker.

Is there any way to edit the graphics settings in WC 4 without using the in-game menues? I cannot find any config files in the folders.

Any help would be appreciated, its wonderful to have this game back!

Problem solved: Created an exception for the WcIV executable the Win7 firewall and it runs fine now.
