I thought the secret missions aren't included in this release?

They wer'nt at first but it seems that what ever the legal issues that prevented it have bees solved and we now have ALL the WC expantions:

SM 1+2 for WC
SO 1+2 for WC2
and Righteuos Fire for Privatter

Thanks for this. I found your posts really interesting. I finished WC1 and WC2 before the expansions were released and was looking at getting back into some fun Wing Commander action. I have died a number of times on the first mission in Secret Missions 1 (which I partially attribute to setting up the speed on boxer) and was about to declare it too hard and give up (my skills being a little rusty) but you have inspired me to give it another (probably several) go/goes.

Played Wc1 and first secret missions successfully, but how do you get to the second secret missions on the GOG Dos BOX version?

I've finally start playing WC1 again. The last time was when it was released on the Amiga, where I played it through till I got stuck on a mission with invisible asteroids (a bug of some type) and I couldn't move on.

I'm playing with Keyboard and mouse now, my Joystick is too sensitive it seems and I can't be bothered to mess around with deadzones.

I'm definitely very rusty, I just replayed the 3rd mission a bunch of times because Paladin kept dying and without him I found the 4th mission a bit awkward.

I'd also forgotten quite how much I hated the Scimitar. A horrible ship with awful weapons. It took me a while to remember that I prefer flying it at about 200 and hitting turbo every so often. Works much better than flying around at top speed.
