I haven't played this game yet, but Im curious to hear from some people that have played both this and Uncharted Waters (either 1 or 2, though Ive only played the first)

is it similar? Do you have the same freedom to choose how you operate?

Any other thoughts about this game?

It's nothing like the UW series. Only thing similar is you pilot a ship around and can trade among ports and fight other ships. Beyond that, nope. It's mostly meant to be played multiplayer. The singleplayer aspect just hasn't excited me. Quests are generic take these people here, fetch this cargo, kill this baddie, etc.

If you're looking for a UW clone, keep looking. I know I am.
