Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I got to the end of Chapter 1 and when I sail through the portal my game would be stuck in a never ending loading screen. I let is run for several minutes. The loading screen is still animated, my system fans go into turbo mode and my machine was getting really hot. I had to shut the game down with the task manager. When I loaded the game back up, I started in the beginning of Chapter 2 so my progress was saved. Still odd.
I haven't had the crashing on exit problem others have reported. The game seems to exit to title screen and desktop just fine for me. I'm running on Windows 10 with core i7 7700k cpu, 32 gb ram, gtx 1060 6gb gpu, and no programs running outside of the game and basic windows services. Pretty sure I meet all the system requirements.
Besides this issue, I'm enjoying the game so far. I like the crafting, combat is pretty good, and the sailing is enjoyable. It's nice to not have to hold down "W" for forward movement when sailing. I wish some of the islands were a little bigger. I also think the day/night cycle is a bit too fast, and food degrades too fast. Really digging it though!
