As mentioned on the store page, Wildfire contains a same-screen co-op mode. This means two plays can play through the entire campaign on the same PC.
At least one gamepad is required in order to enable co-op play. Fully supported gamepads include the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch Pro controllers. Additional third-party gamepads may also function.
The game will attempt to automatically assign keyboard and gamepad controls to each player based on when input is detected, but if you feel this has been done incorrectly, simply go to the Options > Controls menu and manually assign each player's input. You can also manually change the gamepad control icons for each player, or leave it on the first option to automatically assign gamepad icons based on whether the game has detected an Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch controller.
