I don't know if this is somehow related to me having split augments between vision and mimicry, but on Day 4 after getting the mimicry signature for Kalle and telling Gabriel (while disguised as Kalle) about the asthma/herbs, I cannot get Gabriel's signature.

I looked online and this is obviously the key according to multiple guides, however no matter where I stand in the room, Vera won't do it ("I shouldn't, I don't want to attrack more attention...")

Just to make sure this is a bug, did you have a look at a video playthrough to make 100% sure you are doing things correctly? According to the game code, that line of dialogue you are quoting should only play when you are trying to *talk* to Gabriel, not take his signature, but it's possible that this is some kind of obscure glitch where the game considers this to be a speech interaction and not a mimicry capture for some reason.

If it is, attempting to use other inventory items around the room and/or hiding and showing the mimicry UI may be able to unglitch it so you can drag and drop the Mimicry capture thing onto Gabriel's sprite and take his signature.

Also please make sure you don't actually *have* the signature and accidentally skipped the cutscene or something? The image to the right of the Mimicry UI designates your loaded signature, but Vera will still remain in her Kalle disguise until she leaves the room.
