I'll only consider buying when the game features real LAN without internet without GOG Galaxy. Does it?

It's not LAN and even the private server option for online doesn't work on GOG.
EDIT: However at the time of editing this, the multiplayer does work without GOG Galaxy. It still requires internet though.
